Adding a flow constraint to a node

Definition

• A flow or capacity constraint can be added to a facility node which will limit the amount of flow through that node.

Method

1. Left click on a node.
2. Expand the node in the node inspector (on the right margin).
3. Check, "Enable Capacity".
4. Enter in a number for the total number of units that can flow throw the facility during the period of the scenario.

NOTE: This might leave some customers as "orphans" -- their demand is not satisfied. If so, either run the "Solve for..." to connect them or create a lane from a facility that has not reached its capacity limit.
